Not only a question of style
There are many types of laying for boards and planks, from the simple one to geometries with decorations. Each laying system require specific arrangements during installation. But before choosing the geometric pattern you like best, it’s advisable to keep in mind some technical aspects. Did you know that wood floors are subjected to a natural expansion on the short side? For this reason, in a long narrow corridor the flooring must be laid parallel to the long side. Not only humidity influences a wood floor, light does it as well. The colour of wood naturally changes if exposed to the light due to the oxidation process.

It is the most common laying pattern, both for solid wood and prefinished wood floors, with or without joint, also for large size; it is suitable to any type of environment and furniture style. BROKEN ARROW 45°
A special design made by installing the pieces of Hungarian laying side by side. It is quite an easy laying.
