New Habitat for Transition all’ADI Design Museum

Corà is a partner in the New Habitat for Transition concept by architect Massimiliano Mandarini, hosted at the ADI Design Museum (Piazza Compasso d’Oro 1).

Here, wood becomes an integral part of a visionary project that explores the living spaces of the future, connecting sustainable materials with innovative interior design solutions.

New Habitat is an experiential journey that, through modular and self-sufficient technologies, shapes a recyclable living system capable of storing CO₂. The surfaces of this habitat are crafted with Corà’s signature coverings, emphasizing sustainability and forward-thinking design.

Chiaroscuro, l’installazione al Brera Design District

Corà takes the lead in outdoor design as the technical partner for Chiaroscuro, an installation by Fim Umbrellas & Coro Italia, designed by 967arch and hosted at the Biblioteca Umanistica dell’Incoronata (Corso Garibaldi 116).

„Chiaroscuro“ explores the interplay of light and shadow, matter and space.

It unfolds through the library’s interiors and the open-air corridor leading to the entrance, where natural materials and geometric shapes create a dynamic visual experience that evolves throughout the day.

Umbrellas, surfaces, and furnishings interact to offer visitors an immersive and contemplative outdoor design experience. The installation also features contributions from Etro Home Textile and landscape designer Silvia Ghirelli, who curated the greenery.

Corà enhances the space with Lounge 2.0 decking, a high-performance composite wood flooring, and Plissé in/out wall cladding, which ensures a seamless aesthetic, creating unique and refined environments. The warm and harmonious design highlights the significance of natural materials in contemporary architecture.

Milano Design Forest: The Wooded Grove

The heart of Corà’s project for FuoriSalone 2025 is „Milano Design Forest: The Wooded Grove“, an installation spread across two exceptional locations: Via Brera 21 and Corso Vittorio Emanuele II – Galleria Passarella 10.

Here, wood takes center stage in a narrative that celebrates the relationship between humans and nature. Symbolic trees, clad in natural surfaces reminiscent of the brand’s iconic parquet and boiserie collections, weave an imaginary thread between the company’s past and future.

The installation is divided into two sections: one location showcases the „trees of yesterday,“ featuring bifrontal canopies adorned with iconic products like Forever1919 and Wave; in the prestigious setting in front of the Brera Academy, four newly designed trees symbolize „tomorrow,“ bearing the seeds of the most innovative collections, such as Impulso and Miraggio, created in collaboration with the Pininfarina architecture studio—an epitome of design and innovation.
