Pure fibre, layer upon layer

Barefoot on the sand of the Greek islands. This is the effect that Maxi Due Tre, the prefinished, two- and three-layer single board of European Oak, evokes in whoever walks barefoot on it. The black beaches of Santorini, the rocks of Kos and Milos, the picturesque sunsets of Mykonos. Each image calls up tones that are warm, Mediterranean, embracing, tones that identify enchanted places where feeling good is inevitable. The natural effect of this floor becomes even more intense thanks to its treatment with UV Oil finish. The lightly brushed surface exalts the consistency of the grain, creating a rough surface.

FINISH

This product is ﬁnished with a matt UV Oil varnish. Some colours are stained with a transparent coloured paint that enhances the grain of the wood.

PROCESSING

This wood ﬂoor has a lightly brushed surface that outlines the three-dimensional eﬀect and lends a purposely irregular surface. The sawed eﬀect of Creta and Rodi has a strong personality for vintage taste.
Santorini Oak is hand planed to give an old, sanded look. Naxos and Santorini feature black stucco. All the colours have four micro beveled edges.

Some colours undergo an additional treatment, called “THERMO”. Heat-treatment varies the intensity of the ﬁnal colour of the Oak, i.e. light for Santorini, very dark for Coﬀee. The result is a colour palette that varies as each plank absorbs and reacts to the treatment diﬀerently. The range of colours creates a unique ﬂoor with a great personality.

FITTING

The tiles must be laid by qualiﬁed personnel.
Two layers only for glue laying to the substrate. Three layers also suitable for floating style laying. The Naxos and Santorini formats are ideal for irregular multi-width laying.
